Die Böden auf denen die Reben wachsen sind sehr heterogen. Die Basis bildet eine tiefgründige Löss-Lehm-Schicht, die in manchen Weinbergen eine höheren Anteil an Kieseinlagerungen, Lehmanteile sowie Sand aufweisen. In manchen Bereichen befinden sich auch Kalkblasen. Diese unterschiedlichen Bodenstrukturen beeinflussen die Aromatik und Struktur der Weine, die wir insbesondere durch unsere Lagenweinen herausstellen. Insbesondere hier im Rheingau findet der Riesling durch die Bodenbeschaffenheit sowie der Lage des Rheingaus gen Süden und der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Rhein, ideale Bedigungen um seine ganze Vielfalt zu zeigen. Nicht nur im Bereich der trockenen Weine, sondern insbesondere auch bei der Produktion von Beerenauslesen und Trockenbeerenauslesen, ist die vorhandene Säure des Riesling im Rheingau ideal um diese Weine langlebig und lebendig über viele Jahrzehnte zu erhalten.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n
